Advocacy
Busselton Pride Alliance aims to improve the self esteem, health status, and representation of the LGBTQIA+ community of all ages in Busselton and surrounding areas. We actively advocate for equality in workplaces, schools, community groups and spaces, and businesses.
This role includes:
raising awareness of issues impacting LGBTQIA+ people in regional WA;
working with community groups and businesses to develop and promote policies and practices that are inclusive and create awareness, understanding, and inclusion of all gender and sexual identities represented within the community; and
working with representatives from all three levels of government to highlight legislative and governance issues impacting the health and safety of LGBTQIA+ people.
