For 2026, we will be alternating our games night venue between Tonic By The Bay (11 Holgate Rd, Busselton) and The People Place (19-21 Kent St, Busselton).

What to expect
This is a casual gathering that is free to attend and there is no need to register.
Please note, we want everyone attending our events to feel safe, welcome, and celebrated. As such we have created a Code of Conduct which outlines the values and expectations we ask all attendees to follow.
The People Place
The People Place is a nice quiet venue, with two meeting rooms and two activity rooms. There are four all-gender accessible toilets, two off the main reception area, and one off each Activity Room. A floor plan of the building is available on The People Place website. The People Place is wheelchair accessible, and there is ample free parking out the front of the venue.
Tonic By The Bay
Food and drinks (including alcohol) is available to purchase, although you are welcome to attend and play games without purchasing anything. See the Tonic By The Bay website for the current menu - www.tonicbythebay.com.au Please note this is a licensed venue therefore we request all under 18s be accompanied by an adult.
You will find us at table 12 - the large wooden table to the left of the entrance / bar. There are usually between 4 and 10 people.
The Games
If you are new to our board games night and feeling a little unsure about coming along, don't stress — our games are fun, easy to learn, and we’re always happy to explain the rules as we go. You are also welcome to bring along a game.
The games we will play will depend on a few factors, such as the number of players, but below are a few of our favourites, with links to help you explore them beforehand.
Aftergame

🐑 Battle Sheep
A light, tactical game where you split your stack of sheep and try to claim the biggest pasture.
🎨 Azul
A beautifully designed tile-drafting game where you build intricate patterns like a mosaic artist.
🏰 Carcassonne
Place tiles to build medieval cities, roads, and fields – and score points as your world grows! Carcassonne has many different expansions but the basic game is quite easy to learn.
🕰 Timeline
Test your knowledge by placing historical events, inventions or pop culture moments in the right order.
🏡 For Sale
A quick and clever auction game where you bid on properties and try to resell them for the most money. Fast, fun, and full of bluffing!
Whether you're a seasoned gamer or just curious, you're welcome to join in. There's no pressure to play – you're also welcome to come watch, learn at your own pace, or just hang out and enjoy the vibes.
